Michael J. Fox’s Twin Daughter Gets Married in ‘Picture Perfect’ Wedding on Mom’s Birthday

Michael J. Fox’s twin daughter tied the knot in a “picture perfect” wedding. Adding to the magic of the special day, Schuyler Fox exchanged vows with her beloved partner on her mom’s birthday, marking yet another joyous milestone the close-knit family got to celebrate. Details about the beautiful ceremony have been shared.

Congratulations to Schuyler Fox—the twin daughter of Hollywood icon Michael J. Fox—who married her longtime partner on June 22. The enchanting wedding took place in the Catskill Mountains in New York—a venue that looks like it was taken straight out of a fairytale book. Making the day extra special, was the fact that it happened on Schuyler’s mom’s 64th birthday.

Exuding both luxury and rustic charm, the venue, Hayfield Catskills, set the perfect vibe and tone for Schuyler to say, “I do.” Described on the venue’s website as a “breathtaking mountain valley cradling two majestic barns,” wedding guests were offered an unmatched experience.

Divulging some details about the event, someone deemed an onlooker by a media outlet who published an article about Schuyler’s big day, expressed, “They dined under a tent, and it really looked like a picture perfect garden party. They seemed like such an adorable, gentle family.”

Everything was perfect, even the weather, which the same source confirmed, adding, “despite the heat wave.” Hayfield’s website paints an ideal picture of what the setting may have looked like, as they share that the area is “surrounded by stunning waterfalls, breathtaking hiking trails, and bucolic farmland.”

Regarding accommodation for the star-studded guest list, which included Jennifer Grey, Ali Wentworth, and George Stephanopoulos, Bluebird Hunter Lodge was the rustic and cozy boutique hotel where they stayed. Reportedly, this is the same place where the bride and groom hosted pre-wedding events.

Those who did not stay at Bluebird Hunter Lodge enjoyed their time at Scribner’s Catskill Lodge, which is well-known for having hosted some of Tinseltown’s biggest stars. A-listers Rami Malek and Olivia Wilde are among the celebrities that have stayed there.

From the range of activities listed on the venue’s site, Schuyler’s guests had plenty to keep them occupied during their stay in the woodlands area. Those seeking restoration and relaxation could visit the nearby spa or play golf.

Hayfield’s surrounding areas also offer zip-lining and fly-fishing. Guests who felt particularly adventurous could “discover secret swimming holes or swim in wide open lakes. Hike to the top of the tallest two-tier waterfall in New York State or drive to a lookout.”

They could also opt for a more relaxed activity, like browsing farm stands or antique stores. Matching the outdoor vibe of Hayfield, guests could have roasted marshmallows “while gazing up at the mountains, or sip local bourbon by a roasting fire.”

Although no pictures of Schuyler’s actual wedding are available yet, breathtaking photos of Hayfield are viewable on Instagram. From those pictures and what is described on their website, one can imagine how stunning the 29-year-old’s big day was.

Hayfield’s barns, where the main events happen, strike the right balance between maintaining their original style and architecture and adding modern flare.

While they both still have hand-hewn beams and tin roofs, “they’re also appropriately appointed for even formal events, with new bathrooms, pristine hardwood floors, hot and cold water, wifi, and hand-blown-glass antique pendant lights.”

The venue’s furniture, which includes ceremony benches and hand-built dining tables is custom-designed and can accommodate up to 150 people. Hayfield also has “turn of the century wooden folding dining chairs, an antique hand-crafted bar, and two gorgeous wooden antique display tables.”

Sticking to their affinity for rustic charm, Hayfield’s furniture was crafted with wood joinery by hand, with no power tools used. From the many kind testimonials given about the location, it’s clear that Hayfield is a premiere spot for all wedding needs.

Aside from “candy color sunsets” and “fragrant breezes,” adding an extra layer of sweetness to Schuyler’s special day was the fact that her beloved mom celebrated her birthday on the same day. Tracy Pollan’s doting spouse, Michael, took to Instagram over the same weekend to pay a heartwarming tribute to his wife.

The “Back to the Future” star shared two images. The first showed a beautiful black-and-white picture of Tracy, and the second displayed an endearing image of the two of them cozied up outside.

“In every beautiful way, it’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day. I love you and today will be magnificent. Always forever your Mike with so-much love. Happy birthday. It’s gonna be an epic day ❤️,” penned Michael in his caption.

The lovely couple have been married for over 30 years and are still going strong with their beautiful family. In addition to Schuyler, the duo are also parents to her twin sister, Aquinnah Fox, their other daughter Esmé Fox, and their son, Sam Fox.

Family means everything and more to Tracy and Michael. They have boasted about their kids on many occasions, like when Michael posted a dedication to Schuyler and Aquinnah on their birthday last year (2023).

He shared a carousel of pictures which showed a snap of all three of them together, and two separate father-daughter moments with each of them. His message to his daughters read, “Weeeeeeeeeeee! Happy Birthday Aquinnah and Schuyler, you guys live your best lives X 2! Love, Dood.”

In the same way that Michael loves and supports his daughters, they adore and support him too. The same year their dad posted their birthday tribute (2023), Aquinnah and Schuyler showed up for Michael when he was honored with a lifetime achievement award in June at the Spring Moving Image Awards in New York City.

Iconic filmmaker Martin Scorsese presented Michael with the award and praised his incredible talents. Martin also lauded the amazing work Michael has done in benefitting Parkinson’s disease, which Michael was diagnosed with, in 1991.

Martin also relates to Michael’s Parkinson’s research advocacy on a personal level because his wife, Helen Morris, was diagnosed with the disease, too. “If you look at Michael’s filmography, pay attention to the amount of work he’s done since his Parkinson’s diagnosis,” the director started.

Continuing his statement, Martin divulged, “Along the way, Michael not only started his foundation — which has raised so much money for research and raised just as much awareness — but also became a guiding light for so many others with Parkinson’s. That includes my wife Helen — and Michael, your support has meant the world to her and to me.”

Michael has been through a lot amid his battle with Parkinson’s and continues to combat obstacles. He’s always been honest about such struggles like during his speech at the Michael J. Fox Foundation “A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s” Event on April 2, 2024.

“There’s been a lot of challenges. A lot of physical challenges these days have been different bits […] A lot of things have been a lot of effort [which] has been put into stuff,” Michael said of his endeavors and how his ailment has affected them.

However, amid the challenges, Michael luckily has the help and support of his loving family, for which he is ever grateful. “And with the help of family, with the help of people that I work with, I’ve been able to meet those challenges and go beyond them and do new things,” he added.

During that same speech, Michael also touched on the things he was looking forward to, bringing up Schuyler’s wedding which hadn’t happened at the time, yet. “You know, my daughter’s getting married too… good things are happening, and life is good,” Michael J. Fox mentioned.

More than just a new bride, according to her LinkedIn page, Schuyler is “a Harvard Ed.M. who is passionate about using storytelling for education and impact.” She has a background in children’s mental health and their development.

Schuyler Fox also has a creative side as she has experience in curriculum design and production. She currently works as a producer at FableVision.
