After nearly a year-long absence from Instagram, Kate Gosselin returned to the social media platform this weekend to celebrate her sextuplets’ 20th birthday.
The mother of eight shared a photo of four of her sextuplets over the Mother’s Day weekend.
“No more teenagers in this house! Happy 20th birthday, my forever babies! I love you! Who feels old? I know I do! #20yearsold #ItsaPICKLE 🎁🎉🎈🎊,” Gosselin captioned the photo featuring Alexis, Aaden, Leah, and Joel.
Collin and Hannah Gosselin, who both live with Jon Gosselin, were notably absent from the photo.
The Gosselin family rose to fame on the TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8, which was later renamed Kate Plus 8 after the couple split in 2009. At the time, Kate was granted primary custody of the couple’s eight then-minor children.
Since then the former couple’s oldest daughters, twins Mady and Cara, 23, have become estranged from Jon, while Collin and Hannah no longer speak to their mother.
In a 2022, Collin indicated he hadn’t spoken with his other siblings in “five or six years” but shared hope that one day they would be able to reconnect.
“I haven’t reached out to them. I want to respect their space,” Collin, then 18, said. “I’d rather just let them do it on their own terms.”
Happy 20th birthday to Alexis, Aaden, Collin, Hannah, Leah, and Joel! I can’t believe they’re no longer teens. I feel so old.
