In the snap, a smiling Stefani has her thumbs in her jeans pockets. Next to her hands are racing flag-style pieces of material, which she paired with fishnet stockings under her jeans, black boots, and a black and white top.
While Stefani posed happily, her fans were not pleased with the look. One asked if she had a stylist, and another asked, “Is that kitchen towels hanging on the sides?” One follower lamented:
“She’s so tacky.”
One follower told Stefani to “Act [her] age!” However, Stefani also received complimentary comments, with some people telling her they didn’t think she would ever age and others telling her how much they loved her and her stunning outfit.

While some thought that Stefani had no fashion sense when it came to the Instagram snap, Stefani has always felt that she can adequately execute a fashionable outfit, even for huge events.
