Actor Brendan Fraser Sheds Tears As He Hears From Fans Who ‘Love’ And Are ‘Rooting’ For Him

At one point during his career, Brendan Fraser was on top of the world, starring in movie after movie. In 1991, he made his film debut as a sailor in “Dogfight,” followed by his first leading role in “Encino Man” the following year. In 1997, Fraser landed himself the starring role of “George of the Jungle,” which went on to be his first major box office hit. The movie centered around a young adult male who had been raised in the jungle, similar to Tarzan. After auditioning for the leading role of “Tarzan,” Fraser had failed to be cast, but he went on to star in a similar role thanks to landing the role of George in “George of the Jungle.”

In 1999, Fraser finally found commercial success with the adventure fantasy film “The Mummy.” Despite mixed reviews from critics, the film was a box office success and well-loved by many fans. Fraser reprised his leading role as Rick O’Connell in the sequel films. After taking a break from acting in movies, Fraser moved to the smaller screen, appearing on numerous television shows. He was featured in five episodes of “Texas Rising” in 2015, followed by six episodes of “The Affair” across 2016 and 2017.

After the show “Doom Patrol” came to an end in 2021, it was finally time for Fraser to return to the big screen. Fraser is currently filming the upcoming movie “Killers of the Flower Moon,” a Western crime drama. Directed by Scorsese, the film has a wide array of talented actors and actresses, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone and Jesse Plemons, as per the Independent.

During a virtual meet and greet, Fraser had a sweet conversation with a fan who let him know what a huge support base he had. TikTok user @LittleLottieCosplay shared the video of her interaction with Fraser on the social media platform, where the two excitedly talked about Fraser’s forthcoming appearance in the film “Killers of the Flower Moon.”

The production, which is currently being filmed in Oklahoma, has some big-name stars in the lineup alongside Fraser. “I’m going to work with Scorsese and Leo and Bob De Niro,” the actor told his fan, whose name is Lindley. “I think I might be sick. A little anxious. It’s going to be fun but…” He trailed off, biting his nails anxiously.

While many fans turn to their idols when they’re feeling worried or anxious, the positions were flipped during this heartwarming conversation, as Fraser’s fan quickly reassured the actor about his stance in the entertainment industry. “You’ve got this,” she affirmed. “Just know the internet is behind you, we’re so supportive. There are so many people out there who love you, and we’re rooting for you and we can’t wait to see what you do next.”

After hearing his fan’s words of affirmation, Fraser was overwhelmed with emotions and got choked up. He took a sip from his water and tipped his hat respectfully, and said, “Shucks, ma’am.” The clip has since circulated across the internet, with many Fraser fans getting choked up themselves. “I’ve never wanted a comeback so much for someone,” one fan said, as per the Independent. Another said, “I got choked up when he got choked up.”
