New reports are revealing that NFL running back Alex Collins has passed away. He was just 28 years old.

The Baltimore Ravens, Collins’ former team, shared the news of his passing on social media during the evening hours of August 14.
“With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Alex Collins. Always quick to greet everyone with a smile, he was a genuinely kind person who carried a special joy and passion wherever he went,” the Ravens’ statement began.

“May Alex always be remembered for the light and love he brought to so many people in his life,” the statement concluded.
His cause of death has not yet been shared with the public.

Collin’s was drafted into the NFL in 2016 after graduating from Arizona in 2013. He last played for the Seattle Seahawks in 2021.
